I am a lover of food and cookery. Nearly all of my conversations in some way involve food; ranging from what people like to eat, delicious recipes that make memorable meals to the history and ritual of food and eating. Eating, drinking and cooking have gone past being basic human needs for nourishment and have become truly enjoyable experiences that bring people together in an almost universal language.
